HOMELESS AND HUNGRY

Hunger has eaten deep into our society. Living each day not knowing what tomorrow will bring. The fear of the unknown has beclouded our thoughts.
The tears on every hungry kid's face has brought so much sadness to my heart.
With the swollen belly of a pregnant mother holding her son while flies perch on him because of his raggedly torn and filthy cloth. No thrash to eat or unclean water to drink, his mouth filled with bitter sore, his mum filled with sadness can't open her mouth to beg for a dollar. Hurt hit my heart as his little sister tagged behind me asking to help her brother with water. Tears welled in my eyes as I lifted her, cleaned her and put them off the street. The sun hit on them daily without pity and the rain showered on them with no excuse and they believed. They held on and didn't give up.
Helping people isn't a crime. If you have more than your neighbor and he is hungry, please feed him. By so doing, you are helping to solve one hungry case.
