WHAT TO DO ON A FIRST DATE

In general people tend to date or marry someone with whom they have common characteristics or temperament. Dating is the process of spending quality time with prospective partners to become acquainted. Dates can take place in groups or between two individuals.

Free Mind Set
You must have an open mind irrespective of what you have heard about the person or what the general knowledge of the person is in terms of ethnicity, religion, exposure and friends. A lot of people judge individuals by what they think of them. This can be very misleading.

Choice of Location
The venue of the date should be a place you can afford at least a cup of ice cream or a drink. Whatever location you choose must be conducive without distractions.

Dress Code
There is no law that specifies what you should wear but having known your location, you should wear something that suits the location. If it's an eatery, the dress code can be warm and cool but if it's an evening date then you could go all out to wear your dinner gown for ladies and for the men, your suit/blazer will do.

Demands
Couples ought to be moderate in all their doings.

It has always been misunderstood that all women know is "I WANT THIS, GIVE ME THAT" but the truth is it is an individual thing not every woman is a grabber unlike the popular opinion.
It is not advisable to demand on the first date because it increases the suspicion of an ulterior motive which is not love. Also avoid eating what you are not familiar with just to create the impression of sophistication.

Stability
You have to be stable. In most cases we believe that first impressions can sustain us in a relationship but it doesn't happen that way.

Temperament
You must not try to flare at any slight sign of misbehaviour from your date.Consider his/her background, values, environment and be tolerant.
Don't feel like senior to junior. In making choices or decisions ask for your partner's opinion.

Be Careful
Don't jump into conclusions about whether the person will be fit for a wife/husband, a fling or a bed mate. Seduction may work for a shallow sex predicted fling. But a true lifetime relationship should be based on careful character assessment.

Love Language
This is the special emotional attachment in us that springs up love and comfort. We have five love languages namely;
1. Words of affirmation
2. Acts of service
3. Receiving gifts
4. Physical touch
5. Spending quality time

Prefix and Status
Don't start by letting your partner know how well to do you are and also don't start complaining about how poor you are either. Just be plain and natural.

Note that: Asking questions and making suggestions in a date endangers relaxation and openness.

I hope these few tips will help you with your new date.

IS GOD ANGRY WITH NIGERIA

IS GOD ANGRY WITH NIGERIA?

When my friend said this I thought to myself this will be an interesting topic for adorablefaces to ponder on.

The darkness that has enveloped my beautiful nation NIGERIA. The scorching heat that is biting hard with no mercy. Last night was no exception. "I don't want to experience another night like this oo" aunty Nkiru said soliloquizing as she wiped the sweat dripping down her face, her cotton singlet was soaked. "Kai this change" she said hands akimbo

I and Bolaji get to work by 7:15 am everyday but today happened to be a different ball game o" Dayo listened attentively
That's how we woke up at our usual 5am and thought as usual we will get a bus to the office, hmmm my brother that's how we waited yet no bus till 9am. What is this country turning into ehn? Then finally one good Samaritan came along and stopped for us to enter. People called in to the radio station we listened to to complain of fuel scarcity and traffic.

Someone said if the heat doesn't affect you, the traffic will and if that doesn't do the trick...the "no fuel" will...!

This country needs to ask the necessary questions.

FAQ
What are we doing wrong?
Should we continue to support the government?
Should we pray some more?

Let's figure out what our country is not doing right.

Those moments...

I will need strength to untape my mouth...
See the tears in my eyes...
My unending tears...
I've been afraid of everthing...
I need to be your everything...
But then who am I to unwrite the scripts even modify the collage...
My heart bleeds and I can't let it all out...
Oh the tears well up in my eyes and overwhelm me...
I am heavy like death!
Then I am doing what I love the most, crystalizing every second...

Nigeria's 2016 Budget is missing??

Hundreds of copies of Nigeria's 2016 budget have gone missing at the country's parliament, an MP who requested anonymity has told the BBC.
The senate was unable to start considering the proposed budget because of the missing documentation, he said.
The delay could worsen the country's economic crisis as it deals with the impact of plunging oil prices.
President Muhammadu Buhari delivered the hard copies of his first budget to both houses at the end of last month.
It detailed his plans to raise spending by 20% by borrowing heavily amid falling global oil prices.
The president, who came to power last May, also pledged to improve tax collection and invest in other industries including mining and agriculture to create more jobs.
Senate President Bukola Saraki held a closed door meeting with Mr Buhari late on Tuesday, but it is not clear if the issue of the missing documents was discussed.
The BBC understands that the copies of the budget for the lower house are not missing and will be distributed on Wednesday.
BBC Nigeria analyst Naziru Mikailu says this is an embarrassing development for the country's parliament and the government in general.
The MPs are already facing criticism for refusing to cut their salaries and allowances at the time the Africa's largest economy is facing its worst economic crisis in recent years.
Some opposition senators have reacted angrily to the news of the missing documents, accusing the government of being behind their disappearance, Nigeria's Premium Timesnewspaper reports.
But Mr Buhari's spokesman Garba Shehu denied the allegation, saying: "Once the budget is submitted, it ceases to be our property."
Both houses are expected to take about two months to consider the $31bn (£20.8bn) budget.

Married to an Engineer!!

My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.

Three years of courtship and now, two years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness.

I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband, is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love.

One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.

“Why?” he asked, shocked. “I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!” I answered. He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted cigarette at all times. My feeling of disappointment only increased, here was a man who can’t even express his predicament, what else can I hope from him? And finally he asked me: ”What can I do to change your mind?”

Somebody said it right, it’s hard to change a person’s personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him. Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered: “Here is the question, if you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let’s say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?” He said: ”I will give you your answer tomorrow….” My hopes just sank by listening to his response.

I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes: My dear, “I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to explain the reasons further...” This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.

“When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen, I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs. You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you. You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city, I have to save my eyes to show you the way. You always have the cramps whenever your “good friend” approaches every month, I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your tummy.

You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom. You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails, and help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand and tell you the color of flowers, just like the color of the glow on your young face. Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do I could not pick that flower yet, and die...”

My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting and as I continue on reading. “Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk." I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread.

Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone.

That’s life, and love. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.

Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull and boring form. Flowers and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands and that’s our life Love, not words win arguments.

Child Molestation???

Happy New year my favorite people! I am bringing new and interesting gists and stories. Don't forget to check adorablefaces.blogspot.com everyday! Muaah...

AM IN SHOCK !!! WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO????
 EVERY PARENT MUST READ THIS!
The first time I noticed my son's odd habit was when I carried him on my legs in church, I realized he would become quite uncomfortable when my hand was not resting on his crotch, not his thigh, but his crotch, at first I thought maybe he was in pain, and I initially got worried, bit I later noticed his hands where going between my legs, this was not an unconscious action, he knew exactly what he was doing, because I brushed his hand away and gave him a stern look, but moments later I noticed he was doing it again, so I had to drop him off my legs and made him sit on a chair by himself, and did I mention my son was just 4 years old?
When we got home, I brought it to the attention of my husband, and in his usual manner he tried to make light of it, and even chastised me for even thinking our own son would be trying to get fresh with me, maybe he just misses you, he obviously doesn't know what he is doing or where his hands where, my husband said, and after-all you are gone before he wakes up, and in bed before you return, so don't blame the boy for trying to get as much attention from you as he possibly can, he added, but I was not convinced, what if my son had been exposed to pornography or had started hanging out with bad kids, I mean it's never too early to start, especially in this day and age, it made me worry.
The next day I called his teacher on the phone and asked her to keep an eye on him, I told her I had noticed some changes in him and I didn't want the damage to be irreversible, my son's teacher assured me she would do her best to make sure he wasn't exposed to the wrong set of people, satisfied with her response I laid all my worries to rest.
A few weeks later I noticed some strange with my son, I had taken my annual vacation and decided to spend it with my husband and son, on this day I was giving him a bath, and he kept on saying it's mummy's turn to suck on the straw, at first I thought it was a nursery rhyme not until I saw him grab hold of his penis, and repeated the words he said earlier "it's mummy's turn to suck the straw", and while he held his penis, I noticed it was getting erect, now don't get me wrong, I have noticed his erection before, in these cases it usually meant he needed to wee-wee, or he was just waking up from a nap or something, in other words very involuntary actions, but this time I felt he was getting aroused, I was so embarrassed I stood up, brought him out of the bath and quickly wrapped him up in a towel, I did all this without looking at him.
I immediately told my husband, and this time I didn't take it lightly, he saw the seriousness in me and together we grilled our little boy, until he opened up and told us where he learnt the song.
Sometimes you see a lot of things reported on TV and in the papers, and you say to yourself, do these things really happen, or are they stories fabricated by the media to get the attention of the masses, or for print media and soft sell magazines to make a quick buck, and if at all they happen, who would be so blind as to allow it escalate to such an alarming point. Well I was about to understand that these things actually happened, and it was happening to my little boy, the words I would never forget, after long minutes of question and some threats from my husband, he finally opened up, "aunty Tola said she likes to suck my straw and I should not let anyone suck it, and that I should always put my hands inside her pants because it makes her happy".
I collapsed on the floor, when I heard my son say those words, at first I didn't believe him, but I realized how on earth a four year old child, would come up with such a story, I stared at my husband, he stared back at me, we were both speechless, and our son stood between us, weeping, I instinctively pulled him close and hugged him tight, and silently blamed myself for not noticing earlier.
We stormed his school, and went straight to the principal's office, where we explained everything to him and even got our son to tell him exactly what he had told us, the principal was quite upset and summoned aunty Tola to his office immediately, she denied everything, blaming everything my son had said on him having a very active imagination, at this point my husband was hot with rage, and he began threatening to involve the police, and not until my husband actually brought out his phone and began dialing a number, aunty tola fell on her knees begging and crying, and proceeded to blame the devil, we all stared at her in bewilderment, what on earth would possess a full grown woman to sexually abuse a four year old boy, a child put in your care, to protect and nurture, you turn around and hurt, we called the police and she was arrested, I quit my job, and became a full time mum, what would be my gain, if I had all the wealth and ended up with a disturbed and abused child....
This is a great lesson for parents, pls watch your children and make immediate moves as soon as you get to see any changes or funny acts in them. Above all, teach them in the way of the Lord so as to guide them in everything they do as they grow....KEEP WATCH...
