The girl behind the Hello

I am glad to be back y'all

So the other day as i sat contemplating on what to do and how to go about Emeka's school fees. Bisola passed and greeted me. Mummy good afternoon.
"Eh my child, how are you?
She put her head down sheepishly and replied " Fine mummy".
I got interested in her and asked her to come sit with me. She replied politely, "please mummy, my uncle is waiting for his recharge card"

My dear, you can run along, when you are done, please come and sit with me. I said to her, waving.

When she was through she came back to sit with me.

We got talking and through out her head was bowed.
My daughter why do you always put your head down when i am talking to you?

She smiled so beautifully. "my uncle says you must not look your elder in the eye"

O my! i put my hand on my chest, with my mouth wide open.

My dear, you should be as bold as  a lion not disrespectful. You should be confident in all you do. So putting your head down or not looking at me will not make you look confident do you know?

She kept quite still putting her head down.

My dear,i continued talking to her. After our talk, she smiled and thanked me looking at my face.

I was happy i could talk to her. and her confidence built over the years.

Confidence is key

WHEN I WAS A WIFE

Singers, we married.

After a recital at our wedding, Dave winked at me. I smiled. He laid some kiss on my right ear and whispered,

"I love that number, baby. I wish we could sing the song Sheri and Jeff sang in the Gaither's home-coming concert at our dinner, this evening."

I nodded.

"You're my bread, when I'm hungry
You're my shelter from troubled wind
You're my anchor in life's ocean
But most of all,
You're my best friend."

I silently hummed along before I noticed smart Steve, the photographer had captured that thrilling moment.

At half past two, the reception ended.

We both held hands happily as we walked out of the hall.

"Champion!"
"Beautiful!"
"Exotic!"

Our loved ones exclaimed as Dave carried me in his arms into the Limo.

"I want to love like you when I grow up," five year old
Rukayat said.

Everyone laughed. My heart went everywhere at once.

It was the beginning of forever.

We held the dinner in my father-in-law's courtyard. Kolade gave us a back up on the bass strings. I dressed in a coral short fifties-style dress. Dave dashed in a royal tuxedo. Friends and family rocked it well too. It was indeed a splash.

That night, I eavesdropped  a phone conversation between Dave and someone.
I didn't really understand until we found ourselves at Eiffel Tower in Paris on Tuesday afternoon. That was just a wow!

On a fortnight Monday, my husband returned work after our vacation. I helped him with his shoes.

"Let's go dine before I have a shower," he hurriedly said.

I could read hunger on his throat. We smiled.

After taking some spoons, I broke the silence asides the clicks.

"You like this meal?"

"I've been eating at Cresco Foods since I was a bachelor."
Dave stopped.

"What does that mean?"

"I need no angel to tell me where Jesus was born, dear."

"I'm sorry, Prince."
"It's Ok."

My head dropped. I sighed.

     * * * * *
My father-in-law, through his connections, got me a good job, not very late. I had always prayed for great in-laws when I was single.
I'm glad to have gotten a delightful answer.

As time winded, I got pressures from my place of work. Kasali was too enticing. Sixty-year old Mr Joseph became a thorn in my flesh after I warned him severally to stay clear from me. Bruce, a consultant was always telling me he would give me a green card. Well, thank God my husband was not unaware as we steered the wheels together. Consequently, he gave me strategies and reassured me of his love.

On May 22nd, my birthday, he bought me a  very nice birthday cake and an expensive fruit wine. Whilst trying to lift the bottle out of the bag, it fell off.My brain had some seconds siesta immediately.

Before I would say Jack... he looked straight into my eyeballs and said,

"Adedunke, I love you dearly."

I did not know whether to smile or cry as I watched him cleaning it up again. He went out straightway and got another including some chocolates. Dumbfounded, that was my state.
Months rolled. We were confidently happy. No third party came in between us. The wine of our bliss flowed freely.

Out of the blue, something disrupted. It was on the following night Dave travelled to Apple Island for a career conference. He promised to be back in ten days. That wasn't too long though but I'd miss him like it's a decade.
My old friends, Rachel and Tosin back then in College visited me. We gisted, shared old memories and laughed loud. Rachel mentioned how she's been envying my marriage. I overlooked that. We continued.

My husband's call interrupted.

"Hello, Dave's queen."

"We're good here. What's up in Apple Island?"

"Seminars, paper reviews, awards... There's so much gist, till I come."

"Alright."

"How's our baby kicking?"

"Aww...Maybe he wants to say, daddy, hi."

"Really?" He asked jokingly.

"...Ok, bye. Please be careful with those old College friends of yours. I love you loads."

You too."

Was that a timely warning? I shrugged. We ended the call.

My friends eyed me.

Suddenly, Tosin brought up a party invitation. I turned down squarely, besides, my husband's physical absence does not break that rule. However, I got persuaded by the duo until I joined in the decision.

That night, I followed them in the gown I wore for our dinner sheepishly. We got to the venue 8pm. I requested a low cocktail at the reception. Then we walked in.

God! I was shocked to marrow by the scene. The weed smokes were high, music with unlimited decibels, different coloured drinks, dance steps I've never seen, a hand that tapped me: that was all I could remember.

I woke up in Salem Medical Centre wearing a sanitary pad.

"Was I raped?"

"Yes, you were, blindly. Sorry, it is well. We just had a D&C to save you too. Be fine, please."  A slender nurse replied me.

I cried uncontrollably

"I was tempted.I was drugged. Three days ago?" My memory managed to refresh.

"What of my baby?"

"You lost him.Sorry, ma'am."

I cried more.

"You need to rest, please," said the nurse.

"Thank you. Is my husband here?"

"He was. He left some minutes ago after paying the bills."

"Can I get a telephone to call him, please?"

"Ok."

He told me how disappointed he was. I argued to play safe. He dropped.

 * * * * * *

Days after I was discharged, I still had no clue about Dave's whereabouts. I was home all alone. Then weeks skipped. I tried meeting  my in-laws; no way.

"Was I sorry? No, I tried to cover up."

"Dave was a true husband. I've failed him many times yet his reactions had always been I love you, baby. In him, I found love to be a verb and noun together."

My thoughts multiplied.

Months passed. I remained in his house. Where is my Dave?

Alas! I WAS A WIFE?!

"I will arise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loves: I sought him but I found him not."

I was mad with myself.

"Please, did you find my Dave?
          * * * *
"By night on my bed sought him whom my soul loves: but I found him not."

I was still in his house.

"I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him but he gave me no answer."

I was on the streets. Alas! I WAS A WIFE?

"If you find my beloved, tell him , that I am sick of love."

"The keepers of the wall took away my veil from me."

      * * * * *

That may be you. Don't leave yet!

You were espoused to Him a bride in white spotless linen, covered with veil and decorated with royalty. He showered you with the greatest love. You still live in His house, but you are no longer His wife. You have His writs with you, but you already lost His presence. The Spirit warned, but you would not yield.

So many christians today have lost their heads in the high weed. Don't let that gift, title, collar, respect  or feeling deceive you. It would be shocking, hearing the scarest words ever, DEPART FROM ME, I KNOW YOU NOT, YOU WORKERS OF INIQUITY.

In the courts, rendering physical services but NO LONGER THE BRIDE OF CHRIST; how sad will it be to realize at the judgment bar!

Many churches with committed goers, but few brides!
WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent..." (Rev 2:5) Examine. Repent, don't argue. Amend.
Revelation 16:15 says, "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he  that watcheth, and keepeth his garments,  lest he walk naked, and they see his  shame."

(DISCLAIMER: The above story is a divinely-inspired fiction. Allusions are taken from Songs of Solomon in the Bible. If you find any coincidence, take it as a message from God. Also, there are moral lessons*

RCCG youth pastor kills wife

A youth pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Akolade Arowolo, has been sentenced to die by hanging for the murder of his banker wife, Titilayo.
Pastor Arowolo could not hold back his pains after the court ruling, he burst into a fit of prayer. Titilayo worked with Skye bank, whilst her husband was employed. Prosecutors were able to present compelling evidence that led to the conviction of Mr Arowolo and his sentencing by Justice Lateefat Okunu of the Ikeja High Court, he was handed a death sentence. Justice Okunu held in her over three hours judgment that evidence before the court proved that Arowolo actually murdered his wife in their matrimonial home.
Testimony in the form of a forensic report from Prof. John Oladapo Obafunwa, a pathologist, was what the court used to determine that there was no way the deceased could have stabbed herself to death. Immediately after the judgment, Arowolo fell down in the dock and started shouting “Jesus have mercy.” PM News reports that Prof Obafunwa testified that his autopsy report revealed that Titilayo was killed through 76 knife stab wounds.
There were claims by Pastor Arowolo, suggesting that his wife was possessed and inflicted injuries on herself. He noted that the knife wounds affected Titilayo’s left eye, right eye, upper chest area, right chest and collar bone. Prof. Obafunwa pointed out in his testimony that the deceased could not have inflicted such wounds on herself. To further prove its case, prosecution invited some of Titilayo’s family members who testified that Arowolo and Titilayo had always had a troubled marriage.
The family members included Titilayo’s father, George Oyakhire; sister, Ijeh and mother-in-law, Mrs Adetoun Yeside Oyakhire. The three witnesses testified that the couple lived a cat and mouse life. They claimed that the family had at several times, settled serious fights between the couple. None of the witnesses however saw what actually happened on the day Titilayo died

The Herald reports that Arowolo’s co-tenant, Adewale Adeyemi also gave evidence in the case. Arowolo’s parents testified that their son was incapable of murder
Adeyemi in his evidence said that on the day of the incident he heard a loud noise when he was in his apartment and later saw Arowolo rushing out with a deep cut in his palms. He claimed to have also seen a hammer and a knife with a broken handle in the yard. Other witnesses such a the security man at the Arowolos’ residence, Investigating Police Officer and an MTN Staff also gave evidence in the case.
Youth PastorArowolo broke down in tears, after the judge handed him the death sentence, he had claimed he was innocent of killing his wife. Having presented its case, the burden was shifted on Arowolo to defend himself.
Expectedly, Arowolo had his personal explanation as to what happened on the day Titilayo died. First, he claimed that he and his deceased wife had passionate sex for two hours and kissed on the same day she died.

He claimed that Titi stabbed herself to death on the day after they had a fight. Arowolo claimed that Titilayo was possessed by an evil spirit and inflicted several stab wounds on him before turning to herself. Arowolo’s father, Mudashiru and mother also testified of their son’s good behavior, insisting he could not have killed his wife.
They claimed that he has always been a religious person and was incapable of killing

Donald Trump and President Obama to meet in 2 hours

President Obama and Donald Trump to meet in two hours time. Even as Trump calls for Unity. Well, will it be an akward moment as President Obama passes power to the new president elect.

Even with the fact that the campaign has been an ugly one. We anticipate a good one and we know Obama and he is going to be professional and he is going to be straight with the meeting. It is good for the people to have an open mind. We are all looking forward to what Donald Trump will do once he is on. Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait for the president-elect to work. Go with the things you know you can pass" Rudy Giuliani said today on CNN. So there's no way Trump won't do those things he promised.

Millions Protest in the US

Trump might have won the election but obviously he has not won the heart of the protesters. The angry people went to the street to air their displeasure in the just concluded election.

Thousands of people  descended upon Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan Wednesday night, marching from Union square. Protesters are saying Trump is not their choice and also not their president "My body, My choice, "Not my presiden" and so on. At least 65 people were arrested during Wednesday night's demonstrations, according to WABC. A lot of people climbed light poles and had to be taken down.

Donald Trump as US president-elect is a slap on OBAMA's Face

Obama campaigned seriously for Hillary Clinton and yet the Americans voted for Donald Trump. This is a slap on Obama's face. Obama has ruled America with Dignity and integrity. Then why did Hilary Clinton not win the election.

Here are some tips on how and why Donald Trump won!

Donald Trump has defied all expectations from the very start of his presidential campaign more than a year ago.
Very few people thought he would actually run, then he did. They thought he wouldn't climb in the polls, then he did. They said he wouldn't win any primaries, then he did. They said he wouldn't win the Republican nomination, then he did.
Finally, they said there was no way he could compete for, let alone win, a general election.
Now he's president-elect Trump.
Here are five ways he pulled off what was unexpected by most and incomprehensible to many.
Trump's white wave
Toss-ups were tossed aside. One after another, Ohio, Florida and North Carolina went to Mr Trump.
That left Mrs Clinton's blue firewall, and the firewall was eventually breached.
The Democrat's last stand largely rested on her strength in the Midwest. Those were states that had gone Democrat for decades, based in part on the support of black and working-class white voters.
Those working-class white people, particularly ones without college education - men and women - deserted the party in droves. Rural voters turned out in high numbers, as the Americans who felt overlooked by the establishment and left behind by the coastal elite made their voices heard.
While places like Virginia and Colorado held fast, Wisconsin fell - and with it Mrs Clinton's presidential hopes.
When all is said and done, Mrs Clinton may end up winning the popular vote on the back of strong support in places like California and New York and closer-than-expected losses in solid-red states like Utah.
The Trump wave hit in the places it had to, however. And it hit hard.
Teflon Donald
Mr Trump insulted decorated war veteran John McCain.
He picked a fight with Fox News and its popular presenter, Megyn Kelly.
He doubled down when asked how he once mocked the weight of a Hispanic beauty pageant winner.
He offered a half-hearted apology when the secret video surfaced of his boasting about making unwanted sexual advances towards women.
He gaffed his way through the three presidential debates with clearly lightly practised performances.
None of it mattered. While he took dips in the polls following some of the more outrageous incidents, his approval was like a cork - eventually bouncing back to the surface.
Perhaps the various controversies came so hard and fast that none had time to draw blood. Maybe Mr Trump's personality and appeal was so strong, the scandals just bounced off. Whatever the reason, he was bulletproof.
The outsider
He ran against the Democrats. He also ran against the powers within his own party.
He beat them all.
Mr Trump built a throne of skulls out of his Republican primary opponents. Some, like Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie and Ben Carson, eventually bent knee. The holdouts, like Jeb Bush and Ohio Governor John Kasich, are now on the outside of their party looking in.
And for the rest of the party insiders, from House Speaker Paul Ryan on down? Mr Trump didn't need their help - and, in fact, may have won because he was willing to take a stand against them.
Mr Trump's pox-on-them-all attitude is likely to have proved his independence and outsider status at a time when much of the American public reviled Washington (although not enough to keep them from re-electing most congressional incumbents running for re-election).
It was a mood some other national politicians sensed - Democrat Bernie Sanders, for instance, as well as Mr Cruz. No one, however, captured it more than Trump, and it won him the White House.
The Comey Factor
The polls clearly did a woeful job predicting the shape and preferences of the electorate, particularly in Midwestern states. In the final days of the campaign, however, the reality is that the polls were close enough that Mr Trump had a pathway to victory.
That pathway didn't look nearly as obvious about two weeks ago, before FBI director James Comey released his letter announcing that they were reopening their investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server.

Though the polls were tightening a bit yet Donald came out victorious.

My life in a short story

Place your advert on here Uber ๐Ÿ˜

So today my darlings, I went to this really awesome place with my friend Ay. We watched this movie titled "heart", even though the end was tragic we still couldn't stop talking about the whole movie. Well, the food Part was what got me really interested as they served me chicken breast with rice and Chapman. Yes! I love food that much. That's how Ay was talking about Uber and all and I got interested but as an igbo girl that I am we had to take the public bus to save cost (lol) . That's how I got to the second stop to get another bus and the drama started. One man entered the bus I boarded and was asking for iyanapaja bus. I plugged in my earpiece like it didn't concern me and the bus was on motion. My dears, that's how half the journey  o, one man started shouting that the man sitting at his back touched him and his manhood has disappeared. That's how the man continued shouting and told the driver to stop and luckily for us there was this police station close. The driver stopped and called the police men on duty. Hmm! That's how the men went in to check the man and confirmed it. My dear fear catch me I just looked for the next available cab to take me home because I couldn't imagine taking the bus with those same people.

Be careful. Be watchful. Call uber ๐Ÿ˜

Embracing the Face with a Smile

Most times we often say we are happy. Happiness is created or generated. Since this is seen as a state of emotional well-being. Some people are naturally happy because of the state of things meanwhile others are unhappy because they cannot create this inner act. Creating happiness is the second easiest thing to do to live a healthy lifestyle. Even when things seem to be on the down low and you are up and doing and showing acts of kindness and you are filled with beautiful emotions that is seen in your smile then you have created happiness.

Keeping your face young and beautiful is a deliberate action. When you make an effort to look young by smiling often then you are doing yourself more good than harm.
Smiling is not to be forced let it come out from your heart. And mind you, you don't need to have the world to smile. Embrace the smile on your face and let your heart be merry.

CHURCH CRUSH

They say, "the fastest way to get a man to marry you, is to cook his best meal and serve it with a chilled bottle of coke" - okay, nobody said that, i just totally made that up.
But, if it was true; then Nneka would never get married.
Nneka, was my church crush - church, in the sense that we attended the same church and she was in the choir - so yeah, church crush!
But you see, she wasn't like any other choir girl you know. Forget those "head-tie wearing, Ankle skirt" girls you're probably imagining.
Nneka had class, and ass too - not sure which was more, but both were in abundance. Her figure eight (8) shape wasn't helping matters, not to talk of her clear American accent - Mehn! Angels had to be made this way.
So yeah, we eventually started dating after I broke forcefully out of the deep shackles of friend zone I was submerged in - *middle finger village witches*
During the course of our dating, she kept complaining about the money I spent eating out and buying junk food. I never really had a problem with this cos' I barely had time to cook for myself, with my 9 - 8 job and all. - Yeah, 9am to 8pm! My boss was directly related to the devil himself.
Anyways, she offered to cook and insisted on spending the weekend. She was going to "spoil me silly" with different kinds of dishes I had never tasted. I knew right then, that I had found the one. No more cornflakes and indomie for one week - goodbye carbohydrates; Hello protein!!
I fell deeper in love.
Saturday finally arrived, and I was treated to a huge plate of Egusi soup - Everybody's favourite.
I'm not much of a Bible story kinda guy, but after first taste, I knew instantly that soup must have been inspired by the story of Lot and the Pillar of Salt.
My Egusi soup was filled with the missing parts of the Pillar of Salt. I'm not joking, I might have as well, ordered a salt solution instead - heck! it felt like it.
But I let it slide, maybe she was just nervous cooking for me for the first time - Love, really is blind.
By evening, we had Beans - or should I even call it that?
Beans used to be my favourite food, until Nneka catwalked into my life. Now all I see when I think of Beans is horror and battlefields.
You think I'm lying? Okay, picture David and Goliath. Yep, remember those stones David picked before the fight? - yep! those ones.
They were present in my dinner plate. Actually, I think I had more stones than Beans for dinner - but then again Love prevailed, I let it slide.
It was when I saw her washing the rice with soap and sponge the next morning, I knew that I was finished.
"Blood of Donald Trump!! ", I shouted!
But deep down, I was certain the end was finally here. At that moment, I knew my village witches had won the battle - they were probably twerking to a Gospel beat sef at that time.
It's been two weeks since that weekend and I've not had the mind to return her calls or texts. Please, how do you arrange your lips to tell somebody you're not doing again?
Brother zone has never felt more perfect to me. I willingly zone myself.
I give up abegi, I'm not doing again joor!   *stolen

Coach Carter 1

You are amazing just the way you are. Being beautiful or handsome is in you. Don't allow anyone put you down because they see a scar. I see potential. Your deficiency is there to make you stand out. You are unique in your own way. There is no other you. Keeping quiet or not talking when you are meant to doesn't mean you are reserved. Speaking out makes you brave and smart. Learn to read. Master the books. Study. Read in between the lines and don't lose your sleep because you failed your SAT. It's important to be successful but you shouldn't stop your future because you tried something once. Pick up from where you stopped. Reinvent, Restrategize. Let your aspiration be to be happy.

One said our deepest fear isn't that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone; and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Don't be afraid to close your eyes to dream big. Pursue and overtake. Make friends, learn to keep them. Don't stay lonely, talk to someone. Say Hi. Do not pretend to be what you are not. There's someone out there looking for your kind and what you have. Let go of your worry. Forget what's gone. Look at the future

All I am trying to say is: It's time to make a change. Get up and achieve. I just want to see you smile and glow with good self esteem.

Paul's surgery

A stressed man was in his office thinking
deeply about the new fuel price increment in Lagos Nigeria.
He was worried about PHCN and price of tomatoes and onions..
House rents and school fees.

Suddenly one man ran into the office shouting
"Paul, Paul, Paul, your daughter Samanta just had an
accident and died"
Shocked and confused, He jumped out of his
office through the window. As soon as he
Jumped he remembered his office is on the 7th
floor, as he descends lower, he remembered he
doesn't have a daughter called Samanta, still
descending, he remembered he's not even
married, just 2 floors b4 he hits the ground, he
remembered his name is not Paul...!
Luckily for him, he fell on a Lorry carrying foams.
...
Stop thinking too much in this world of troubles..let PMS go #250:00.
God is always in control...
Relax, Grab a glass of
chilled drink (if at all 5 litres of chilled Zobo), and also......

Keep praying and believe that something great would soon  happen to favour you...

The blood that was shed at Calvary on your behalf is not in vain..

Cheer up!!
Team Philippians 4:19...

Angelina and Brad's Divorce Saga is getting juicy ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

They say that Angelina Jolie used to 'beat' Brad - & stayed in 'their own wings' at their mansion estate while their marriage fell apart

According to InTouch mag, Angelina Jolie used to put hands on Brad Pitt and they are describing her as a wife from hell. Na wa! As if they were in their relationship. Read the rest after the cut...

From Daily Mail
Us Weekly claims that while Brad, 52, and Angelina, 41, were living together at their huge Hollywood Hills compound, they took to staying in different parts of the 80,000 sq ft estate.

"Angelina basically had her own wing and he had his,' a source close to Brad told the publication. 'They began living these separate lives.'
A representative for Brad declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com. A representative for Angelina was did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The insider also revealed that the former couple. who share six children, were fighting more and more ahead of the break-up.
'Their arguments progressively became more frequent,' the source said.
Brad allegedly 'didn't want to be alone' and turned to friends while working on his latest movie Allied to discuss his problems.

'He said he was just worn out and fed up with problems at home,' an insider claimed. 'He said they've had rocky moments before, but this is the roughest patch they'd ever been through.'
A source close to Angelina alleged that she wasn't happy with Brad airing their dirty laundry, telling Us Weekly: 'She cannot deal with anyone talking about their business.'

The couple's estate - which will be divided with their other properties as they hash out a $400million divorce agreement after signing a prenup - is made up of five houses and features a skate park, three swimming pools and a secret cave.
Ian Halperin, author of Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, recently said that Angelina is considering relocating to the UK to further her political career.

'She's a woman with an agenda, she wants to leave the United States, she wants to work in the UK, she wants to get in the House of Lords, she has a non-profit foundation there. She has her sights set on England,' he told the Daily Star.
And while she will indeed be spending more time in the British capital, particularly as she has been appointed a visiting professor at the London School of Economics, a source told People that Angelina is not making a move their full time.

Grey Atmosphere

When I was a little girl I always thought love was black and white
As I grew older I see it is blue, green and orange
Strings get attached and colors mix
Love is not only a decision. It has become a feeling.
Now I understand when some say they find it hard to let go
Then I wondered why you would be an xoxo
I was clueless
I want to tell you every second how I feel
I want you to know you are my next breath
You are my dirty secret

Lay down with me and whisper sweet nothing to me
Touch my hair and make me blush
Lift me up and twirl me around
Let me close my eyes and feel all you feel
Tickle me so hard my laughter will be filled with joy
Dang it!
Your love intoxicates like the sweetness of wine

Be a people's Person.

Sometimes when I have a bad day. I smile because if people asked me what got me upset. What will I tell them

If I have a bad cut on my face, and my husband asks me what happened. What will I say? so I am careful.

If I don't cook food for the family and my children asks me why. What will I say

If I stopped looking good and smelling chic and people start running away from me. What will I tell them went wrong

Sometimes you have to do things because you want people to be happy. Most people are of the notion that people Don't matter. They do. Care about people. Be a people's person.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not asking you to allow people bring you down. You are a bold warrior so no one can intimidate you.
Have you tried to help a stranded man in a bus before? You will see the joy in his face even if he doesn't thank you as he should.

Learn to say hello/hi or even good morning when you see someone. Greet people because through that your character is seen/showcased. If they don't respond, go your way. That should not deter you from greeting next time.

Listen to another person's opinion on something. Listen to your wife/husband, your view maybe different from hers. You are not the only carrier of information.

Read books. When you listen/read you gain a new thing.

I hope this idea will help you today. Happy Sunday. Do have a fulfilled week. Smile. Be happy. Nothing is difficult for God to do

SUCRร‰ NOVEMBER 2

                            SUCRร‰ NOVEMBER 2

                                       Part 2

Two days to his arrival, Bolanle called me begging me to remove the foetus that it was still possible, he said all sorts and devised every means to make me remove the baby. I thought of the risk in doing that. He told me he knew the best doctors and I should not be afraid. My world came crumbling down as he hung up the phone. I wept because I could not phatom what had come over him. This minute he told me to keep it another minute he's advising me to go for abortion. The idea that Bolanle was telling me to abort bore a whole in my heart. I believed he would have a change of heart as I went to visit him the next day. I pleaded with him to see reasons with me yet he was bent on his decision. I told him I was scared I may lose my life, he assured me it was nothing. So we went to the hospital to get the baby removed. The doctor gave us the analysis and cost. Bolanle couldn't afford it and suggested we went to his quack friend to get rid of the baby. I felt I could be bold enough to ask my father for the money for the abortion so I went home in anticipation.
As my father arrived, I went to pick him and soon we began talking as he entered my sitting room in admiration walked about but I was not bold enough to tell him, I only asked him for more money than usual which he told me he would send to me and also let me know my family was still poor and reminded me I was here only because of the scholarship I was given. He told me they were all looking up to me as the first born of the family even though he had a son out of wedlock, he wouldn't want us to follow in that path. He advised me as he began leaving because he wanted to take a walk on the beach before his meeting the next day. Few months gone, Bolanle would not change his mind then I told my brother (the one born out of wedlock) he was furious at first then asked who the father is, I gave him full details and without hesitation, he told my father. I had graduated so my father told me to come home immediately. I knew what that meant and my father being the chief of the yourba land, I had disgraced him. So I tried reaching Bolanle before heading to the airport. He told me never to call him since I would not adhere to his word.

I was in Africa, Nigeria to be precise in two days. They welcomed me with my bulging tummy and my father told me how disappointed he was and how I have failed our family" sobs of bitterness enveloped me on hearing the sadness in my father's voice. Getting through to Bolanle proved abbortive, so I reached for his best friend whom I asked to direct me to Bolanle's house in Nigeria. I and my brother went to visit them the next day. Initially, they didn't believe it as Bolanle never told them anything. The mother made a hell of trouble vouching for her son and raining curses on anybody that would want to jeopardise their son's future or put her family under duress. They put a call through him before his mother will finish talking, he picked and affirmed to it and said he was not interested in the baby and refused to come home. I could not hide my anger as I walked out leaving my brother to conclude with them.

Most nights I would cry and hope he has a rethink. As it was so disgraceful seeing me with a big tummy and not married, my father told me to stay with my aunt in Osun State and leave the house in Lagos. My aunt was very nice and caring. She had a soft spot for me. The day I was to deliver my baby, I didn't know on time but I told my aunt I was seeing water in large quantities dropping, she had never had to go through that she Had no inclination so she told her husband who told me to pack my bag and rushed me to the hospital. I gave birth like the Hebrew woman but the after pain couldn't be explained as they stitched me. I was glad I could look at my baby. "My beautiful baby, I would adorn you with all my gold and silver" I said out loud.
The naming ceremony of my baby was on the 2nd of August 2015, lo and behold Bolanle was there as it was a taboo for the husband to be away during the naming of his child. Bolanle prostrated on the floor begging I and my mother to forgive him as my father was absent . Before that day, my uncle called him to threaten him if he doesn't show up at the naming without my consent and that was when he denied the baby saying "they should ask me who the father of the baby is". He apologized and the ceremony went on but the hurt in my heart could not be contained. After the ceremony I told him how I used all my savings to cater for my pregnancy, he begged for forgiveness but said we would not come back together as he was afraid of responsibility and was not ready to take care of himself. I told him never to speak to me or my baby after that day. He wouldn't listen, he would call and apologize but he was still not ready to have a family. He still wanted to have fun and live his life before settling down. Sometimes I wonder what changed the sweet loving Bolanle I used to know.  Then I started ignoring him. One day, he called my mother to tell her I have been ignoring his calls that he was going back to school as he failed some courses. I said to her that whatever one sows, that he will reap.

A year later, I met Prince an igbo man, tall and sleek. He came to see my parents without hesitation as our relationship got serious, he told them how much he loved me and would want us to get married. Without much adio, we got married September 2nd 2015. Now Bolanle is trying to figure out his life and thinking of how to take the baby from me...
Prince my husband took I and my baby girl Mitchelle to South Carolina for a visit and we are considering getting our permanent resident permit.
As I dropped my pen, I decided to let the world know about me and not go through the path I took.

My advise: Don't do anything for the moment
Moments don't last forever
No matter what you are going through, God is preparing a better place for you
Children are a heritage of the Lord.
